  • What exactly automates Document Output?

    Document Output automates the dispatch of outgoing documents such as invoices, credit notes, reminders, order confirmations and delivery bills – by e-mail, print or e-post (e.g. Peppol). Attachments, e-mail texts and recipient settings are also automatically taken into account.

  • Can I control mailing individually for each customer?

    Yes, you can define exactly how, when and where a document is sent for each customer, contact or document type – e.g. by email to a specific address, in PDF or XML format, with individual language and attachments.

  • Can e-mail texts be created automatically?

    Yes, email content can be fully automated – including placeholders for names, amounts, references or language. You can maintain standard texts per language and document type.

  • Is Document Output audit-proof?

    Yes, all sent documents are archived, versioned and linked to the receipt in Business Central. This means that it is always possible to trace what was sent to whom and when.

  • Is Document Output compatible with the cloud version of Business Central?

    Yes, the add-on works in both the cloud and the on-premises version of Dynamics 365 Business Central.

  • Can I send XRechnungen, ZUGFeRD or Peppol documents with Document Output?

    With Continia Document Output, electronic invoices can be easily created and sent in common standards such as XRechnung, ZUGFeRD or via the Peppol infrastructure. The delivery method can be defined individually for each recipient – for example, securely and directly via Peppol, which is particularly suitable for public clients and digitally positioned business partners. Alternatively, documents can be sent in ZUGFeRD format: as a PDF with embedded XML data that is both human-readable and machine-readable.

  • How do Document Output and Document Capture from Continia complement each other?

    Document Capture processes incoming documents (e.g. invoices), while Document Output automates the dispatch of outgoing documents (e.g. sales invoices). Together, they form a continuous, digital document flow in Dynamcs 365 Business Central – from inbound processing to professional dispatch.
