Initial Situation: Desire for Cloud Capability and Mobile Support for Field Service
We aimed to simplify the work of our field employees by introducing a web client and enabling the use of mobile devices, while also improving travel expense accounting. This involved consolidating relevant information such as performance records, activity logs, and travel routes.
Additionally, we wanted to take the next step towards digitizing our accounting processes. We envisioned automating the booking of our bank statements.”

There was a need for optimization because performance data from field staff was recorded on paper and later digitally entered, leading to delays, errors, and duplicated efforts. To address these issues, we jointly introduced Microsoft Navision 4.0.

In the meantime, several years later, in 2012, an upgrade to Dynamics NAV 2009 was carried out. This was primarily driven by the desire for technical modernization.
